Film Education – Film Club

Posted by watseducation on July 14, 2008

I found a link to this website on another Blog.

It told me about Film Club.

FILMCLUB offers its member schools something you won’t find anywhere else – free access to a huge range of fantastic movies from every era and corner of the world, made for every age group.

Once you join, you can instantly start choosing movies from FILMCLUB’s collection of 1600 titles.

Simply pick which film you want to watch, order it and we’ll deliver it to you.

Visit the site to find out more.

I don’t know any specific detail but it is worth a visit – there is some very interesting stuff!

Visual Literacy

Posted by watseducation on July 12, 2008

From September my school is embarking on Visual Literacy – it sounds very exciting and a new way to engage children in literacy and generate some new ideas.

I thought that I would look for some resources and stumbled across this and it looks great!

If you know of any other resources – let me know!
